5 days of immersion in photography, to review your approach, to develop your photographic personality, to understand how to create a visual story, from the idea to the final editing and selection, a unique opportunity to fully live the city and tell a photographic story exploring different photographic styles: from portraiture to lifestyle, landscape, architecture and street photography. Simone Padovani, a professional photo reporter, will help you in going deeper in your photographic skills and in how to create a photographic story, combining theory and practice, in one of the most unique cities of the world: Venice. The teacher will be Simone Padovani, an Italian professional photo reporter and University teacher, working internationally for Getty Images, National Geographic and many other international magazines. He won the Manfrotto School of Excellence International Award, the Silver Medal for the European Fiof Awards, and many others. He brought in Italy the Photovoice technique, which he still teaches at the University of Padua. He is in charge for the Council of Europe for the international photographic project "Shame - European Stories". He is also working with European Community for Climate Change as Eu Climate Ambassador. The workshop includes: - 5 days of lessons and practise with visits to local artisans and activities. - Transportation by electric boats with Classic Boat Venice - Room for the theoretical part and for postproduction and editing - Number of Participants: From 2 to 8 If the minimum number of 2 people is not reached, there will be a full refund. THE WORKSHOP IN DETAIL This photography workshop is available from the beginner wanting to know how to use and get the best from their camera to the aspiring professional wishing to take their photography to the next level. The workshop is custom-designed to review the technical approach, from camera settings to the composition, depending on the final project you want to develop during the course - Learn the different styles of photography, and how to apply them to a specific project or story - Learn the grammar of photography, how to create an image as a sentence; - Learn how to post produce your images, how to select and edit them in order to have a visual story - Realize a project, your project, about Venice, create a story with images, form the idea to the final selection and publishing of the pictures
